YouTube has eliminated over 17 lakh movies uploaded from India through the July-September quarter for violating the corporate’s neighborhood pointers, the Google-owned agency mentioned on Tuesday. “Between July and September 2022, in India over 1.7 million videos were removed for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines,” YouTube mentioned within the Community Guidelines Enforcement report for the third quarter of 2022.
Globally, YouTube eliminated over 56 lakh movies for violating neighborhood pointers.
“Of the videos detected by machines, 36 percent were removed before they received a single view, and 31 per cent received between 1 and 10 views before removal,” the report mentioned.
The video internet hosting platform eliminated over 73.7 crore feedback from the platform for violation of the rules, the report mentioned.
YouTube information exhibits 99 p.c of the feedback had been eliminated after they had been flagged by its automated system and only one per cent had been eliminated after they had been flagged by its customers.
