Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal Set to Receive  Million If Terminated

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal would get an estimated $42 million (roughly Rs. 320 crore) if he have been terminated inside 12 months of a change in management on the social media firm, in accordance with analysis agency Equilar.

On Monday billionaire Elon Musk struck a deal to purchase Twitter for $44 billion (roughly Rs. 3,36,400 crore), ending its run as a public firm since 2013.

Musk in a securities submitting on April 14 had stated he didn’t trust in Twitter’s administration.

Equilar’s estimate features a 12 months’s price of Agrawal’s base wage plus accelerated vesting of all fairness awards, an Equilar spokesperson stated, primarily based on Musk’s providing value of $54.20 (roughly Rs. 4,100) per share and phrases within the firm’s latest proxy assertion.

A Twitter consultant declined to touch upon Equilar’s estimate.

Agrawal, beforehand Twitter’s chief expertise officer, was named CEO in November. His whole compensation for 2021 was $30.4 million (roughly Rs. 230 crore), in accordance with Twitter’s proxy, largely in inventory awards.
