As lawmakers make their means into the House chamber this week almost two years after the January 6 assaults on the nation’s Capitol they are going to achieve this with one much less piece of kit current. With the anniversary simply three days away, Axios notes, the newly managed Republican House of Representatives has opted to take away a metallic detector a few of its members described as an, “unnecessary disruption.”
