Microsoft has partnered with Meta in an effort to steer companies to function in digital settings. During Meta’s Connect convention this morning, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated that Microsoft Teams will combine with Quest gadgets and that Microsoft will present a method to stream Windows apps to Meta’s headsets, TechCrunch reported. Nadella additionally revealed that Microsoft’s streaming sport service, Xbox Cloud Gaming, will arrive on Quest gadgets someday throughout the coming months.
“We’re bringing the Microsoft Teams immersive meeting experience to Meta Quest in order to give people new ways to connect with each other,” Nadella stated, noting that customized avatars will ultimately come to the expertise. Horizon Workrooms, Meta’s VR house for collaboration, will join with Teams, he added — permitting individuals to hitch a Teams assembly immediately from Workrooms.
