It’s uncommon that trailers are as spoiler-filled as this new video for the second half of Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Kevin Smith’s “continuation” of the basic ‘80s He-Man cartoon. I assume it’s in hopes of successful again a few of these grumbling followers who disliked the primary half of the sequence. I hope it really works, as a result of this trailer is completely rad as hell.

Admittedly (as I admit each time I write about Masters of the Universe for io9) I’m a enormous He-Man fan, so I’m clearly biased. But it actually seems that Smith saved one of the best—a lot finest, all one of the best—for the second half of Revelation. Take a glance…

We already knew Savage He-Man could be arriving to kick Skelegod’s ass and, by extension (and narrative conference), that Prince Adam wouldn’t keep useless for lengthy. Seeing Teela lastly faucet into her heritage because the Sorceress’ daughter (which was solely teased at within the unique sequence) to resurrect Adam is fairly satisfying, as is figuring out she’ll be battling Evil-Lyn, who’s at present moonlighting as Castle Grayskull’s new Sorceress, full with a bat-headdress to match the unique’s eagle model.

The large, epic battle that clearly going to shut out the present appears to be like to have each Masters of the Universe character/motion determine ever, which is actually what all He-Man followers have ever wished for. It appears unbelievable, not the least as a result of it teases the return of arguably the perfect character within the first half of Revelation, who simply occurred to be the terrible character within the ‘80s cartoon). But that scene where Prince Adam raises his arm aloft, calls forth the power without the Power Sword, hulks out into Savage He-Man and just beats the holy hell out of Skelegod—my jaw literally dropped. I’m glad the scene was so transient within the trailer, as a result of whereas I’m glad I do know it’s coming, I can’t wait to see what else Savage He-Man has in retailer.

And I can’t wait to see what else Masters of the Universe: Revelation as an entire has in retailer when half two arrives on Netflix on November 23.
