Amazon’s Top Policy Executive Jay Carney to Join Airbnb as Head of Policy

Jay Carney, the highest coverage and communications govt at Amazon and one-time White House spokesman, has been named the top of coverage at Airbnb, marking one other high-profile departure for Amazon because it faces a shifting client panorama and heightened regulatory scrutiny.

Carney, who served because the press secretary for President Barack Obama, will be part of Airbnb’s govt staff and work with co-founder and CEO Brian Chesky, the corporate mentioned in a Friday blog post.
