Rogers seems to be experiencing a serious outage in elements of Canada this morning, affecting mobile and web connectivity. Downdetector has 1000’s of studies of points with Rogers, and issues appear to have began at round 5AM ET. Another third-party service tracker is reporting Rogers outages throughout Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.
While Rogers hasn’t acknowledged the issues but, Toronto police tweeted that some folks within the metropolis have been experiencing connection points calling 911 this morning. “The Rogers Network is experiencing some technical difficulties,” says the Toronto Police Operations Twitter account. “We are working to resolve these issues.”
