We’ve seen what occurs when a bunch of extremely skilled troopers attempt to rob a Las Vegas on line casino that’s been overrun with zombies. It didn’t go effectively. Now we’ll see what occurs when a bunch of thieves attempt to rob banks on the opposite facet of the world from that zombie infestation.
The first story was in Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead. The newest one is from Army of Thieves, a prequel to Snyder’s movie which debuts on Netflix October 29. It’s directed by and starring Matthias Schweighöfer, who performed Dieter the safecracker within the first movie. In this new heist movie, Dieter groups up (earlier than the Vegas job, clearly) with a special set of characters together with Fast and Furious and Game of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel. You’ve seen the teaser however now right here’s the total trailer for Army of Thieves.
As is obvious from that new trailer, Army of Thieves will not be a zombie film. Zombies are a part of its world, however not this particular story. It’s an instance of how Snyder and his group are hoping to take that first, core film and increase it in all kinds of latest and other ways into a real, authentic Snyderverse.
“We really liked the idea that it’s set at a time where the zombies existed in the world, but it’s not a zombie film,” producer Deborah Snyder mentioned a number of months again. “Who’s done a prequel where it’s a different genre [of] film? To me this is more of a romantic, comedy, heist film than anything else. [It just] happens to live in this world where zombies are in the U.S. and it’s causing the banking system some instability.”
