
Mobile messaging platform WhatsApp banned 18.58 lakh Indian accounts in January on the idea of complaints obtained from customers by way of its grievances division and the corporate’s personal mechanism to forestall and detect legislation violators, in response to a month-to-month report printed on Tuesday.
WhatsApp obtained grievances towards 495 Indian accounts which appealed to ban 285 accounts, out of which 24 have been banned.
