We looked at a lot of ’80s fantasy, to be sincere, like Ladyhawke and Dragonslayer and Willow. Those had been huge ones for us. We checked out Hammer horror movies, after which there was this Russian adaptation of War and Peace that had simply been restored across the time we began prep. And then Kenneth Branagh’s Henry V, we checked out that one so much. Numerous Shakespearean references, particularly that one.
