These photos of Yellowstone National Park, which have been shared collectively as Image of the Day on June 23, illustrate the latest flooding which NASA believes is because of an atmospheric river. For reference, the left picture was taken on June 16, 2021 whereas the appropriate picture was taken on June 16, 2022, and each have been taken utilizing Terra’s MODIS instrument.
