Carex model mattress rails, that are designed to maintain folks from rolling away from bed and help them in getting up, have been recalled after three aged folks grew to become trapped between the product and their mattress and subsequently died, in response to a brand new report from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The title “Carex” and the mannequin quantity are printed on a label on the underside of the rails. The Bed Support Rail has white metallic rails with black foam grip and measures about 35 inches excessive and 20 inches vast. The Easy Up 2-in-1 Bed Rail is comprised of a darkish brown metallic assist rail with black foam grips and a darkish brown metallic mattress rail. The assist rail measures about 21 inches excessive and 17 inches vast and the mattress rail measures about 20 inches excessive and 30 inches vast.
