Netflix is giving new life to the anime Spriggan, and a second teaser trailer has formally hit the web.

Spriggan was a weekly Shonen Sunday manga that ran for almost ten years from 1989 to 1996. Written by Hiroshi Takashige and illustrated by Ryoji Minagawa, the manga bought over 10 million copies and obtained an anime movie adaptation in 1998.

JNTHED will lead manufacturing design, Norihito Ishii will function CG director, Osamu Mikasa will head shade design, Yuji Kaneko will function artwork director, and Yosuke Motoki will function director of pictures.

Now, as a Netflix unique collection, david manufacturing is taking on. The collection is directed by Hitoshi Kobayashi, who particularly directs episodes “Dragon Pilot” and “Kiznaiver.” Character designer and supervising animation director Shuhei Handa (Little Witch Academia) and screenplay/collection composition by Hitoshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen) are additionally engaged on the challenge.
