History Channel will inform the story of the Hummer EV with a documentary | Engadget

If you ever puzzled how General Motors, one of many largest automakers on the planet, went from 0 to EV so rapidly whereas managing to reinvent its iconic Hummer SUV, former-poster youngster of automotive extra, as a future-facing electrical car, the History Channel has a present for you. Revolution: GMC Hummer EV will take a behind-the-scenes have a look at the event of the all-electric supertruck when it premieres Sunday, March twenty first at 11am ET.

The hour-long documentary, produced by Hiatus and Detroit-based WTP Pictures and directed by Sean King O’Grady, adopted the Hummer growth group over the course of two years of design on the Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan adopted by grueling environmental testing at GM’s proving grounds in Milford and Yuma.

If you miss the stay premiere, Revolution will hit History on Hulu, History.com and the GMC YouTube web page the next Sunday, April third.
