No Time to Die was one of many earliest movies to get pulled from launch schedule within the early days of the covid-19 pandemic, being pushed again additional and additional because the state of the world continued to unfurl over the past 18 months. And that wasn’t even its first delay! But now, Mister Bond has set his sights on delivering one final journey with Daniel Craig.

Optimistically promising itself because the last trailer for the film, No Time to Die’s newest footage emphasises that that is the tip for Craig’s tackle the long-lasting British Spy, having first appeared in Casino Royale fifteen years in the past. Now, with secrets and techniques to uncover and a sinister new masked villain in Rami Malek’s Safin on the hunt, Craig’s 007 seems like he’s going out with a bang.

No Time to Die begins with Craig’s superspy out of the motion, residing in Jamaica with Lea Seydoux’s SPECTRE character Madeleine Swann. But Bond isn’t granted the chance of a quiet life for lengthy, so when a harmful secret of Swann’s pulls him again into the world of spycraft by his previous good friend, CIA operative Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright)—alongside a brand new 00 agent who changed him as 007, Nomi, performed by Captain Marvel’s Lashana Lynch—he’s tasked with going after Safin, a cracked-mask-wearing villain obsessed with each Bond and the concept of leaving his legacy to reside on past him. A legacy that presumably entails making an attempt to take over the world, or blowing issues up, as Bond villains are wont to do.

No Time to Die is ready to hit theaters October 8. Probably. Maybe. Likely at this level, we hope.
