Snorkelers swimming in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef have stumbled upon a coral of epic proportions. Composed of dwelling organisms, the big mass is the widest coral ever discovered within the area and one of many oldest.

The coral, found this previous March, measures 17.4 toes (5.3 meters) tall and 34.1 toes (10.4 meters) large.
