Amazon is now delivering orders by drones in California and Texas with the intention to finally fly out packages to clients’ properties inside an hour, Ars Technica reports.

The retail large’s drone supply service, Amazon Prime Air, already dropped a small variety of packages by way of drone within the backyards of shoppers within the run-up to Christmas in Lockeford, California, and College Station, Texas.

“Our aim is to safely introduce our drones to the skies. We are starting in these communities and will gradually expand deliveries to more customers over time,” Amazon Air spokesperson Natalie Banke instructed KTXL Fox 40.
