Russia is partially restricting entry to Facebook. Telecom regulator Roskomnadzor says the transfer is in response to dad or mum firm Meta limiting the official accounts of 4 Russian media retailers. It stated Meta was violating Russian regulation by doing so.
Roskomnadzor requested Meta for a proof and to take away the restrictions on Thursday. After the corporate “ignored” the calls for, officers determined to limit entry to Facebook, a measure Roskomnadzor says is in accordance with the regulation. The watchdog claims to have recorded 23 circumstances of “such censorship of Russian media and Internet resources by Facebook” since October 2020 (per a Google Translate model of its announcement).
