Google Files Writ Against CCI After Confidential Report ‘Leak’

Google on Thursday mentioned it has moved the Delhi High Court towards the leak of antitrust physique CCI’s confidential report pertaining to the investigation towards the tech big. Last week, studies had said that CCI’s investigation arm, the Director General (DG), has discovered that Google indulged in unfair enterprise practices in relation to Android.

“We are deeply concerned that the Director General’s Report, which contains our confidential information in an ongoing case, was leaked to the media while in the CCI’s custody.

The spokesperson added that the company cooperated fully and maintained confidentiality throughout the investigative process.

The company stated that the DG’s findings “don’t mirror the ultimate resolution of the CCI” and the submission of the investigation report is an interim procedural step.
