A totally intact and toasty-hot Orion spacecraft got here house on Sunday from its journey across the Moon, splashing down off the coast of Baja, California. The historic mission ended because it started, with a fiery journey by way of Earth’s ambiance, and with NASA pulling off one daring accomplishment after one other.
Similar to the opposite phases of this spectacular 25.5-day mission, the uncrewed capsule’s reentry, splashdown, and restoration offered no scarcity of visible spectacles.
