Google has gained a deal to supply cloud providers to Elon Musk’s SpaceX, which has launched a slew of Starlink satellites to supply high-speed Internet, it stated on Thursday.

SpaceX will arrange floor stations inside Google’s knowledge centres that hook up with the Starlink satellites, enabling quick and safe Internet providers by way of Google Cloud, the search large stated.

This service is predicted to be accessible within the second half of 2021 for enterprise clients, the corporate stated.

The deal comes at a time when demand for cloud-computing providers has soared, with gamers like Microsoft and Amazon dominating the market. Cloud corporations have additionally tapped into the telecoms sector, due to a soar in demand for 5G connectivity.
